Louis Vuitton Mini Pochette and Pallas BB Bag

Louis Vuitton

You know when you’re invited to a birthday party and you know that your friend is addicted to designer brands. And I can totally understand the frustration of hunting for a present that needs to be correctly balanced between the price and value. It’s even harder if she has bought you an expensive gift for ‘your birthday’ last your and you need to return the favor.

But you can’t buy a Chanel Classic Flap Bag, I mean, that will make her very happy that’s for sure, but then you need to cut a big hole in your own budget. Then you don’t want to bring a key ring or something to her party. But what about the Louis Vuitton Mini Pochette Accessories Trunks & Locks?
First thing first, The Mini Pochette is not just a collection, as we’ve covered some time ago, the Louis Vuitton Mini Pochette is an iconic itself. It was originally made for the bucket bags, but somehow it has chosen to walk its own path. You can read more details about the original version at Louis Vuitton Mini Pochette Accessories.
You see,The design is made by Nicolas Ghesquière, inspired by the Trunk Luggage, a historical and classic bag from Louis Vuitton. If you’ve followed us so far, you must have heard a lot about the ‘Trunks’ design, you remember the Petite Malle Bag?
A charming graphic design on its Damier Ebene Canvas, that adds to its stylishness – the graphic is embellished in the front, making it look like a lock. The Louis Vuitton Mini Pochette Accessories Trunks & Locks comes with a short golden chain. Though it has a small space, but its perfect to hold your essentials.
Cute, cuter, cutest. Remember how we responded to the Louis Vuitton Capucines Tote? Yeah, it was a gorgeous bag. The design was feminine and elegant, and I love the way in which you can alter the face of the front flap. But then something else came along, the same Louis Vuitton Capucines Tote but then in a smaller size. The first time we saw it, it was literally: ‘BOEM L.O.V.E’.
The Louis Vuitton Pallas Bag is not a new accessory; The Pallas was made in combination of two different materials – monogram canvas and natural cowhide trim. It was an invention of fashion, a bag that was not only chic but also embossed with the Louis Vuitton signature.
And now the Louis Vuitton Pallas BB Bag, it was just a matter of time that something as gorgeous as this was going to be released in store. It makes fall even deeper in love, see its touch of color and the long shoulder strap; this new addition is designed for the women on go. Oh, and I can think of more than ten occasions where I am always on the go. And I belief (now) you can too.
So pick your favorite interior color (made from leather), the top will make a part of the exterior look. Blend the monogram with red or yellow. The handles are made from articulated leathers, it’s coated with monogram canvas (read more about Louis Vuitton leathers) and calf leather. The interior is secured with a large flat pocket and the exterior with 2 compartments. Measuring 27 x 18 x 19 cm (W x H x D),

On Our Radar: PI’A Womenswear

There is just something about womenswear that is classy and elegant; the kind that means you don’t have to show off too much skin to stand out. The way a classic white shirt can look just as sexy as an LBD.

That’s the essence of PI’A actually, where each collection begins with a reinterpretation of the classic womenswear staples. Observe:

With Priscilla I’Anson as the creative director, PI’A takes on womenswear staples and gives them unexpected twists. Just take a look at PI’A’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection, where the classic shirt is reinvented as a half shirt/half tube top and the jumpsuit is splashed with stunning red.

We also like the white blazer that oozes sex appeal when paired with LBS (little black shorts). A retro-ish mini dress gets a style update with split sleeves in PI’A Rivoli Dress, a piece inspired by the buildings that line Paris’ Rue Rivoli. The best part is that any of these pieces can be easily matched with favourites we already have in our wardrobe, so we can work these pieces to style a new outfit. (*adds all to cart*)

Fundraising is one of Anna Wintour's many talents, and she hasn't been shyabout her support of the Democratic party and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, particularly since the former Secretary of State announced her candidacy in April 2015. (Wintour is also reportedly serving as Clinton's unofficial wardrobe consultant.) With a little more than two months left until the national election, Wintour is stepping up to the plate once again. But instead of hosting an intimate gathering at the home of powerful friends with deep pockets in Los Angeles, the Hamptons or Paris — as she's done in the past — the Vogue editor is bringing together Clinton's supporters in the fashion industry for a fundraising rooftop runway show at Spring Studios in New York City, two days before the official start of fashion week.

While the evening's special guest will be Chelsea Clinton, Wintour's official co-host for Huma Abedin, Clinton's top aide, Wintour's frequent co-host and current star of a six-page feature in Vogue's September issue. In addition, a whole host of designers will be present and contribute designs to the runway show, including Joseph Altuzarra, Public School's Dao-Yi Chow & Maxwell Osborne, Eva Fehren, Prabal Gurung, Brett Heyman, Marc Jacobs, Pamela Love, David Neville & Marcus Wainwright, Monique Péan, Tanya Taylor, Thakoon, Diane von Furstenberg and Jason Wu. Tory Burch and Georgina Chapman, who have both hosted fundraisers for Clinton before, will also be in attendance. Several of the aforementioned designers have already shown their support for Clinton by designing fundraising merch the campaign calls the "Made for History" collection.

Of course,  While a standing room only ticket is just $100, one front row spot will run you $2,700 — and that's without access to the VIP reception. For those looking to make a night of it, a "Hillsquad Package" of five front row tickets, VIP reception and rooftop party access clocks in at $25,000.

The candidate herself is not announced to attend, but she might be in town. Clinton is scheduled to speak at the The Commander-in-Chief Forum live from New York City the following evening.
